Chopstick rest
【 Design registered 】
Tradition meets modern art:
a new chopstick rest made for effortless one-handed use.
The WAKON vertical chopstick rest blends Japanese aesthetics with contemporary design.
Conventional chopstick rests hold chopsticks horizontally, which often requires using both hands and can interfere with the placement of dishes and plates on the table.
This vertical structure supports the tips of the chopsticks at an angle, allowing them to be picked up and placed naturally with one hand.
Designed to make efficient use of table space, it enables a more comfortable and natural dining experience.
traditional Japanese craftsmanship
The chopstick rest is made using Mino ware, one of Japan’s most renowned ceramics. It reflects techniques
passed down for over 1,300 years, blended with a contemporary interpretation. The chopsticks are finished with Wakasa lacquer,
a traditional craft with a history of over 400 years.
